Meet Our Financial Security Experts
Three decades of combined experience helping Australians build stronger financial foundations through education, planning, and personalized guidance.
Zora Blackwood
Head of Financial Strategy
Zora spent her early career dissecting market patterns at investment firms across Sydney and Melbourne. What struck her wasn't just the numbers—it was how many smart people made preventable financial mistakes simply because they lacked the right framework for thinking about money.
She joined worynalithesq in 2019 after realizing that traditional financial advice often missed the mark. Her approach focuses on building sustainable habits rather than chasing market trends. Zora particularly enjoys working with clients who think they're "bad with money" and showing them they just needed better systems.
Felix Ashworth
Senior Risk Assessment Specialist
Felix came to financial planning through an unexpected route—he was originally a software engineer who got fascinated by the mathematical models behind insurance and risk assessment. After his own family faced an unexpected medical crisis in 2020, he experienced firsthand how proper financial preparation can make all the difference.
His technical background helps him explain complex financial concepts in surprisingly simple terms. Felix has developed several of worynalithesq's signature planning tools and believes that everyone deserves to understand exactly how their financial decisions will play out over time.
Iris Montenegro
Director of Client Relations
Iris brings fifteen years of experience from both corporate banking and community financial counseling. She's seen how financial stress affects families at every income level and believes that clear communication is often more valuable than complex strategies.
What sets Iris apart is her ability to meet people exactly where they are in their financial journey. Whether someone is recovering from debt or planning for retirement, she creates judgment-free spaces where honest conversations about money can happen. Her background in multicultural communities has shaped worynalithesq's inclusive approach to financial education.
Why We Do This Work
Financial security shouldn't be a luxury available only to those who can afford expensive advisors or those lucky enough to have financially savvy parents. Yet that's exactly what we see happening across Australia.
Too many people are making crucial money decisions based on incomplete information, social media tips, or outdated advice from well-meaning relatives. Meanwhile, the financial industry often speaks in jargon that makes simple concepts sound impossibly complex.
"We believe financial literacy should be as fundamental as knowing how to read. Everyone deserves the tools to make informed decisions about their money."
Our role isn't to manage your money for you—it's to teach you how to think about financial decisions so you can confidently navigate whatever life throws your way. We're building a community where financial knowledge is shared openly and practical wisdom replaces marketing hype.
How worynalithesq Started
The idea for worynalithesq emerged from conversations between Zora and Felix at a Melbourne fintech meetup. Both were frustrated with how traditional financial advice was failing ordinary Australians who needed practical guidance, not investment portfolios.
Iris joined as the third co-founder, bringing crucial expertise in financial counseling and community education. Together, they spent months interviewing people about their biggest money challenges and designing a different approach to financial guidance.
worynalithesq launched its first educational programs during the pandemic, when many Australians were reassessing their financial priorities. The timing proved perfect—people were hungry for practical, no-nonsense financial education that addressed real-world situations.
Today, worynalithesq has helped thousands of Australians develop stronger financial habits and clearer money goals. We continue expanding our educational resources and community programs, always focused on making financial knowledge accessible to everyone.
